Dentes Sequel

So... somebody e-mailed me saying that they'd like to write a sequel for Dentes, since they were dissatisfied with the ending. I've said before that I have a good idea of what I'd like to write for the sequel, but do not know when or if I'll write it. I don't like starting a project without the firm intention of finishing it

Ah well. Artistic inspiration is merely your opinion and imagination on something existing. Tecnically, you can't forbid someone to express himself and share that opinion, otherwise we wouldn't be writing fanfiction on Naruto now. I believe they should be free to write whatever they want, as long as they credit [properly and thoroughly] in the most strict of senses.

So, it won't be the official sequel, and whoever wants to attempt it had better specify that it's just a "fanfic of a fanfic" and be aware that there's a High chance that readers will be dissapointed. I've read one before and while the 2nd author managed to keep farly close to the original to make an acceptable "sequel", the 3rd author (who wrote a 'fanfic of a fanfic of a fanfic'. Yes, they didn't even agree on this, she just got inspired a few months later) failed in my opinion,; her writing style was an eyesore differerent and she didn't respect characterization.

But a sequel on Dentes. Nnnnngh not so sure I would read it...

I mean, I thought of one too -- heck, I bet everybody has! But to actually post it and be fair to the original, I would have to be some writing genious. D:

You're right that it would be kind of hypocritical of me to say they couldn't. I really couldn't stop them, but I don't like it. I think there should be a line drawn at fanfics of fanfics, haha.

You write fine stop it with that genius nonsense.
