My mother's insanity

Dec 22, 2005 17:30

For those of you that I haven't told, my mother often acts in ways that make no sense whatsoever.

Shortly after she got home today, instead of coming to my room and knocking on my door (or simply leaving me alone, which I prefer unless the house or my car are on fire), she calls me on my cell phone. Uhm: no. You're in the same house, have enough decency to get off your duff and come speak to me face to face.

Then, I'm up and about, doing laundry, going to the restroom, getting water, this, that, and the other. She calls to me from her spot lying on the couch and says that she's trying to doze off. Uhm...that's in the living room, in the center of the house. I asked if her room wouldn't be a more appropriate place to be trying to sleep, but apparently this logic was lost on her.

Of course, for those of you who haven't heard my previous rants about my mother, these will seem out of context. I assure you, they go along with a long pattern of odd, socially-inept behavior (especially not being able to speak about anything in the least bit difficult in a face-to-face manner).

Crazy Bitch!

Oh, and yes, I'm moving out, very soon. It will make me a happier person.
