My parents have definitely been pulling the hypocritical shit on me too.

Like, I haven't even bothered starting to look for a college, so they're convinced that I'm going to Stony Brook, yet they refuse to try to get my rear in gear and insist on ignoring me when I ask them to help me get information.

Yet they can't seem to ignore that my GPA has (God forbid) slipped below 92. Ergh.

Apparently, it's just in the parental nature. Or at least when one has children who don't show the "proper" amount of interest in their future. Excuse us for not being obsessed to the point of mental breakdown with our college choice.
