Stuck in a Twist, Hard to Miss

I'm indoors for this hurricane but y'know what? I'mma go somewhere for nummies. Yup.

I happened onto the Wendy Williams show due to channel flipping/nothing being on tv and watched a bit on it (Brandy was gonna be on, le w00t) and gods how vapid it is. All this chatter about celebrities and their lives, all this unnecessary attention to famous people - I am literally staring at a talking head. This woman is a talking head. Like, "Woooo, let's look at the lives of the rich and famous! Let's judge them! Lemme pretend I'm their friend and know everything or like I am your portal to the lives of the rich and famous!" Oh my dear gods. The part where they sit there and are trying to crack on Mike Tyson saying "He's only worth $1 million dollars" and the crowd goes "Awwwww," I just sat there and said, "He still making more than all y'all in the audience combined." Why the heck are they tryin to tear these celebs down? I just don't understand. The people in the audience are just that, spectators. Why do they attempt to shade folks who are doing for themselves and ain't this so pointless? I mean, all this celebrity obsession, don't any of them think it's weird? It's one thing if you have a favorite act or actor/ress, then it makes sense since eh, fans care about their acts but come on, these folks are just secondary star-chasin in the way that they're only interested in these people because they're famous and boy do these folks wanna see the famous fall and tumble to the point it's quite scary. If I were on Williams show, I'm not sure I would enjoy myself. If it's a new experience, I may go just to experience being on a daytime talk show talking about my faith and site but if I could be choosy, I'd prolly pass. I don't like the pseudo-perky that these shows have and have ravenous they are towards the famous. What is it with people having a love/hate relationship towards celebrities? Shinoda's piece Glorious Excess was on point about this.

I swear, if I have to be on a show to represent Black Witch and it's not some political/thinky show, it would have to be Steven and Chris XD I do appreciate their show. It may be a show directed at homemakers and suches but boy is it entertaining surprisingly. I could never see shows like Martha Stewart because I would throw a brick at the tv and so do other homemaker shows but this one somehow does not incite evil rage from me. Tho what would I do on a show like that? Teach people how I deco or make besoms? I wanna get this book thing out of the way tho before I do so should I have to make rounds, I'll have wares to hock.

XD I'm still gonna stunt on the thought that this kind of thing is a potential reality. Lawlz.
