Sequel to "Daddy Long Legs", this time, it's Judy's friend from college Sally McBride who writes the letters. Judy has convinced her to be the new head of her old orphanage and to make it into a better place. Sally, who is more used to country clubs and flirting, takes on her new responsibility slowly, but surely, and in the end she is of course a mature, sensible woman and finds love.
I quite liked it. The tone was fresh and sometimes self-depracating, and the ending wasn't as jarring as in Daddy Long Legs. The story about the orphanage and it's big and small tragedies was more interesting too.
