After a few emails, I finally got my act together, and I have finally uploaded my review for Takuya Kimura's latest jdorama Engine. I know the review sounds very negative, but my favourite still remains Good Luck followed by Long Vacation, Hero and Beautiful Life.

Episode 4 of Engine

I'll keep it brief. I enjoyed this episode a lot. A lot of the story focussed on Kanemura Shunta who is just so cute and adorable that I spent the whole time going: "Ohhhhhh" :) ( Read brief comments on Episode 4 of Engine )

Comments on Engine so farNow that I am not summarising, I'll offer my views of the show so far. I don't like racing - Days of Thunder made me yawn even though "Show me heaven" is quite a cute song. I don't know why people worship morons who whiz around a track. ( Read more... )

The episodes air in Japan on Mondays and the Chinese subtitled version is usually released around Wednesday.

It's in Japanese only but might be worth a look as it contains interviews and backstage footage :) The raw for episode 3 is out but I'm waiting for the Chinese subtitled version. I'll post a plotline summary based on the Chinese subs for episodes 1 and 2 that I watched with Hera :)

Nothing to report today. I have spent the bulk of the day studying or sleeping. I snuck out briefly just to buy some mantou, milk, dumplings etc. I have almost finished reviewing all of the material for zonghe and will start on my review of reading, listening and conversation after that.
