...and I commented on your other entry asking if you've watched Standoff, heh. That's what I get when I start checking my friends list from the most recent entry.

Anyhow, I love Standoff so much, and I hope you'll love it too :) Apart from perhaps two episodes somewhere in the beginning (4 or 5, somewhere there) which sort of lost the logic and reason, it's really pretty intelligent and fun to watch.

The interaction between characters feels natural and not over or underdone, and the technical stuff (including what the Tactical Team is doing - and I call them tic-tacs, of course *g*) seems pretty accurate, too. That is... it seems accurate to someone who's been reading Tom Clancy for years, and Tom Clancy is obsessed with military/intelligence details, and bent on explaining to the reader what the proper strategy in each case scenario is, so after you've read most of what he wrote, you get a feel for things... *laughs*

My brother and I were both squeeing when the tac team used a flash bang. We're geeky like that :D

I still have two episodes to go because I'm rationing ;)

I really like it, too. I'm 'obtaining' episodes 12-18 now and very sad that they cancelled the show - but I suppose at least it can never turn crap like other shows do :| I seem to be having really bad luck with my shows lately.

I really like Matt and Emily - they're both really interesting, smart and savvy people. I was a bit worried in the episode 'Heroine' that that stalkery woman Anya was interfering with my ship, but fortunately it all worked out in the end. I'll try to do a proper post about the series soon :)
