Belated linkback to my gj:

Aug 20, 2007 10:41

Well I am alive and kicking. It's just that I can really only access properly from work these days. Explanation here.

The Backfox proxy sort of works but I cannot stay logged in - so I can't read all friends locked posts and I can't post or comment.

I'm a little disappointed by the fact that LJ hasn't even acknowledged my query/question. Even if they wrote back and said: "Sorry, too bad," that's better than just ignoring my query altogether. See, they could have helped PRC users by just having a slightly modified URL for us to use since the blocks are quite primative, but I could understand why the number of people in China didn't warrant them trying to help us out. But I would have thought that a simple acknowledgement to my latest query would have just been polite. Then again, presumably they are being killed right now by Backlash 2007 (i.e. Kerfuffle 2007: The Story Continues) so don't have time to reply to Internet-challenged koalas.

I've been a bit preoccupied by various matters so have been tardy about cross-linking to my gj, so I'll see if I can catch up now. I think lj in general is relatively quiet right now. I'm not sure if it's because so many shows are still on breaks between seasons or not. I'm guessing that September will be a high traffic month with so many shows starting/restarting. :)
