Saturday night and I'm at the office finishing off some documents but I should be able to finish them at a decent hour. My iPod suddenly started playing "True Blue" by Madonna and I started to grin

hee, I love all these songs. I think I was around seven or eight when "Lucky Star" came out so I use that as an excuse for my love for early(and middle I guess if you could call it that)Madonna. by high school, I had expanded my tastes had changed I still owned Vogue;)
I think "Get Into The Groove" is still my favorite- great beat. and I love the "Material Girl" Video!
*laugh* I was disconcerted by the fact that there are some people on my friends list (although very view) who possibly may not have even been born at the time I was watching the Barcelona concert on television :D Madonna was at her height during my late primary school early highschool years although I actually didn't really start liking her until maybe university and I kind of went backwards and rediscovered old eighties things. Into the Groove is excellent, something about the way she sings; 'you got to prove you love to meeeeee!" :D
Material Girl is just so much fun although the 'hero' with his scruffy beard is not my idea of a hottie :D

I went back to college when I was 27 and it was weird, most of my classes were upper lever undergrad ones but I had to take a foreign language and there were several freshmen and sophomores in that class, some were just 17 years old! at least I looked (and still do though not quite as much)young for my age, one benefit of my avoiding the sun like a plague...

yeah, but of course that's kind of the point of the video, the whole thing's artifice, she goes for the guy who isn't all that "material".
