I love my Kindle Fire.
Unpacking the Kindle Fire:
The decals from decalgirl arrived so the Canadian (who is much better at such things) applied the decals for me as well as the Kindle Fire screen protector. I bought two, the Flower of Fire and Sacred Honu. I had pretty much decided to put the Flower of Fire on my Kindle Fire but OH said that everyone would be using that one, so he put Sacred Honu on it for me. Here's the reskinned Kindle Fire:
I've been enjoying using Calibre to convert epub books over to mobi and to pick my own preferred covers for books :laugh: Such shallowness! Makes the cerebral part of reading extra fun.
I like the size of the Fire a lot. A guy at work is giving me an extremely hard time for buying a Fire instead of an iPad (criticises my decision all the time). Anyway, snazzy as his iPad is, I like the size of the Fire as it fits into my bag neatly. I also have the case with foldy bits that allows you to prop it up like so:
