DC Gal ordered what she thought was a creme brulee. It was a creme bruleee - frozen solid and quite difficult to eat:

We watched our neighbour's power meter in fascination. Just as I was taking a photo, it clicked:

We had Korean the other day and at the end of the meal, they gave us what they described as a "fruit platter" :)
For the Dragon Boat festival, the Italian place near us is making Italian-style dumplings and zongzi 粽子. It's quite funny :)
In the dvd stores, we see a movie called Battle Planet and the cover makes the Canadian laugh because he wonders if all the special effects budget was spent on this costume - which is why they reuse the same pose several times on the cover :)
