Heh, the Canadian and I are still watching it - it's kind of good brain-dead entertainment that we watch over dinner... although sometimes, it's a bit gruesome while we're eating spaghetti
I watched the pre-air pilot and it bored me. I almost fell asleep several times while watching it. I enjoyed some of the performances, Lance Reddick as Brolyes, Blair Brown as Nina, and Noble as the senior Bishop. Oh, and Kirk Acevedo playing whoever it was that he played. I tuned into to the first episode for about 30 seconds and I then I decided that I didn't care!
Abrams and I just don't click. I do plan on watching Lost someday, after it ends in 2010.
My dad and I tried to watch the pilot, but we couldn't get past the first hour without changing the channel. In Olivia's third scene in a row at the beginning I was suddenly unsure if that was the same woman we had seen in the previous two scenes.
None of the characters grabbed me. I really just didn't care about them.
Although Olivia bugs The Canadian and me, the rest of the show is fairly watchable - although Olivia's boss is pretty wooden and exaggerated in the way he acts and speaks :D
