I have to say I am incredibly proud today.
My older brother Jeff (I can't say 'bigger' unless we're talking gut) starts the fire academy for Dekalb County today! He's been a paramedic for the past 14 years and is amazingly good at it (I don't know the exact number of saves, but it is a very strong number of people he's brought back from dead and who went home to their families), and he finally gets to live the dream he has been jonesing for since we were kids doing Fire Explorers with Gwinnett county.
I got a little watery eyed this morning listening to how giddy he was 'DUDE I START THE ACADEMY TODAY!!!!! EEEEEE!'. It was kind of disturbing.
