Well, this is probably waaay overdue. I've actually found some worthwhile reading on the net, but I've just not worked up the effort outside of everything else to put 'em up! Well I'm gonna remedy that, I hope. ^.^
Stargate Atlantis: Always Rodney-Centric
Sophomore Slump by Sardonicsmiley. This is just a link to the first part, but go on and read all of it.
Dog Days continues the series. Its a refreshing look at Rodney in his much younger self. He's strong, he's vulnerable, he's absolutely adorable, and John can't get enough of him. A note, though. I didn't ever watch Sky High. I thought it might be a little hokey, but this story just might make me watch the movie. Just. Read. It. Pre-slash to very mild slash McShep, much Rodney whumpage, sorta angsty sometimes, and sweet. :)
Permutationality also by Sardonicsmiley. As with above the link is to the first part. Todd um...takes a liking to everyone's favorite scientist. This one's sort of a weird one, but the relationship that develops between Todd and Rodney is new territory for me. ;) Todd/Rodney -ust and McShep, but only barely.
Repellent by
Neena. Its finished, finally. YAY! Its Rodney versus the volcano....then the wraith...then Rodney sort of.. turns into a de-agefied!Rodney Wraith, sorta. Yeah, and John and Rodney decide to be flamingos together! Its a really good read with nice whump for Rodney. ;) Good plot. McShep-ust, I guess.
A Bee In The Bonnet by
nottasha. She is an excellent writer, but there's one thing I love her for. Writing plots specifically to set our dear Rodney up for ill. ;) I love her so for that. Sheppard loses his Rodney in Atlantis. Stupid bee. Gen, angsty, smushiness.
Under Glass by
nottasha. Another Gen story that is all about Rodney whump and close character interaction between he and Sheppard. Really sweet, slow suffocation. Mmm....
Cute As...Series by
gillianinoz. A McShep Genderbender kinda thing. Now genderbenders don't squick me in the least, but to start with this one did. Its not actually Rodney's body that is changed into a girl in this one. His body's swapped with a Genii girl's. Don't let that put you off, though. I got over it quickly and for once someone actually takes girl!rodney stories seriously. This is lovely and sweet. Angsty at times, and sad, but wonderful. Read it and all its parts.
Harry Potter: Harry-Centric
Never Alone, Never Again by
quillscribe. A Gen story largely centered around how Harry's life pretty much goes to hell in a hand basket. Sirius is free from Azkaban and takes care of Harry through the whole ordeal. Harry whump is everywhere in this. Angst, and a little darkness. And I'll admit it...even Snape gets my respect in this one. ;)
Star Wars Episodes I, II, III: Obi-centric
The Re-entry Universe by
flamethrower. This is a beautifully written Qui/Obi story that's really centered around a huge 'what if'. What if Obi-Wan was injured as a padawan and woke up with the knowledge of his older self? I love this story. Its a dreaded WIP, but what's there is worth a read. Plus, the author has expressed that they would like to write more in this universe. Obi owies abound, a little sad in places, but lovely in others. Another note,
The Master Apprentice Archive has, at this time, more of this story up than the author's page does.
