'cause people suck. We won't be seen heroes, we'd be seen freaks-- to be poked and prodded at, to be studied and analyzed in a lab and all that stupid stuff like we're not even human. The mutant stigma, you know? That, and the government would probably shut down the school, afraid of conspiracy and overthrowing the government and all that. Mn, that's a very respectable goal. But I can't agree that education is wasting our time here-- certainly it's better for us to spend time honing our abilities rather than use them recklessly? The math and science are subjects we'd be studying if we didn't have these... mutations, I don't see how they're any less relevant.

Even Superman went to school, didn't he?
