Well, as the Kisarazu twins might end up treeing more cats than they rescue, I'm not sure. And there are too many here who haven't got an ounce of control, but I do understand you frustration, Ibu-kun.
Cats run away from cats? What is the world coming too....?
That is a shame. Though I have to wonder why they are here if they don't intend on using their abilities. Isn't that what this school is all about? It's very strange.
I had a cat that had stripes... I don't think that would be an issue. But I don't know how their mutation works. Maybe they're doomed to be cats that all other cats despise? Who knows.
Learn not to be...? That's silly. We have it, so it's best to learn to live with it. I'd rather not have the power I have, and will admit I block it for my safety and for the safety of others, but it can be useful when I want it to be. I'd just like to learn more control.
If I'm not going to need it in the 'real world' then it's not very practical.
Well, they say that flight is their primary power, but the birds all tend to avoid them. None of them will tell me anything more than that they smell like predators.
I know. I don't understand it either, but I am one of the few with an obvious mutation. There is no way for me to hide.
Think about what you wanted to be growing up. What you want to do for a living. Saving kitties from trees and helping the elderly won't pay your bills. Practical classes are the ones that prepare you for a career so you can survive out in the world, or even get qualified to work here.
Wings? And you speak to birds...... Makes sense. Though I'd be shocked if anyone 'normal' would hate you for them. Has no one mistaken you for an angel and started praying to you?
I take every day as it comes. If I make plans for the future and they don't happen I will be annoyed. This way I can avoid that. It's a simpler way to live.
No, no one tries to pray to me. My wings are black, so they usually think the opposite. I...don't tend to go out much when I'm home because of it. The people in the nearby town are slightly more accepting, but they still have a tendency to point and stare quite rudely.
I can see the logic in that view point, though it seems rather chaotic in a way. Do you not have any goals that you want to achieve?
(ooc: Kite is full of it. His wings are dark purple, especially in good lighting. He's in denial. Feel free to call him on it at some point ^__^)
Not all angels have white wings. Nor do they all have a single set of wings. Demons were supposed to have bat-like wings (if they had them at all) and not feathered wings. People are silly. I'm sure your wings are very pretty.
Perhaps I'm chaotic? I'll have to ask Akira... But no, no real goals. I want to have a safe home for myself and my sisters. That is really the only thought for the future I have.
You're welcome. (ooc: haha that's cute! And the problem is, Shinji pretty much always tells the truth! So ha~ Kite's wings are pretty and he can't argue with it!)
They are mostly safe. My parents aren't really the best. They think about themselves more than their children. The idea is to take them away from that and give them a home until they're able to leave on their own, or find loving partners and want to start a family.

Those who have control could help, couldn't they? And trying is better than nothing, I think.
But my point does stand. Why am I sitting a math exam and not learning more about mutant powers? I would find that much more interesting.

There are too many who don't want to be helped. We have a fair few who seem hell bent on never using their powers.
I agree. But alas, for those who can blend in, the practical matters still need to be addressed.

Practical matters?

I don't know either. I think some of them think they can learn to not be mutants. I don't understand them at all.
Yes. Math, science, basics.

You have an obvious mutation? Mind is not so obvious. But annoying.
I've never thought about my future much. It's too fluid to pin down.

Mm. I have wings, and large ones at that. And they don't retract or anything like that.
Well, perhaps now might be a time to start. If you like. I don't have any room to talk about trying to force you into anything.

That is a very admirable goal. Do they not have a safe home now, or are you just thinking ahead in case they are mutants as well?

I'm their big brother. It's my job to look out for them, isn't it?
