~One: Costume Fitting~
"Due to the summer heat, we have to change your costumes," woman who looked to be in her early thirties said to the members of NEWS. "So I need your measurements once more for the new ones. Let's start with the youngest first."
Kusano stepped forward.
"Oh that's right Hironori-kun you are older than Yuya-chan!" she exclaimed. "I always forget. Gomen Yuya."
Tegoshi blushed.
"It's okay," he said, softly.
~Two: Candyland~
Costumes weren't the only thing to be affected by the summer heat, as the boys of NEWS found out quickly. To prevent heat stroke, they were confined to the JE Building. Tegoshi, however, wasn't the least bit bothered by it, as he was currently playing a board game with Koyama and Ryo.
"I win again!" he exclaimed, and Ryo growled.
"Dammit!" he yelled.
"That's the eighth time!" Koyama exclaimed. "Let's play again. I'm gonna beat you Tegorin."
Kusano walked into the room with two ice cream cones. He handed one to Tegoshi.
"Arigatou Notti!" Tegoshi exclaimed.
"You're welcome Tesshi," he replied, kissing his forehead.
"Candyland?"
"Yeah," Tegoshi replied. "I asked Ryo-tan and Keii-chan if they wanted to play with me. Turns out they're not really good at it. Wanna play with us?"
Kusano smiled.
"Alright," he said, sitting Native American style on the floor. "But don't you think this is a tad bit childish?"
"Well Tego-nyan is the group's baby," Ryo replied.
"Am not," Tegoshi replied pouting slightly, which did nothing to disprove Ryo's statement. "Notti's younger than me, right Notti?"
Kusano nodded.
"That's right you are older than Kusacchi!" Koyama exclaimed.
"Sorry, Tego-nyan," Ryo replied.
"It's okay," Tegoshi replied, grinning. "Let's start round nine now."
~Three: Basketball~
The next day proved to be a little cooler, and so a few of the members decided to play a game of basketball. It was a two-on-two game, Kusano and Tegoshi against Uchi and Massu.
"Catch Uchi!" Massu exclaimed, whizzing the ball over to him.
"Aaaaargh!" Uchi shrieked, ducking, and Kusano quickly stole the ball.
"Over here Notti!" Tegoshi exclaimed, flailing his arms.
"Comin' at ya!" Kusano exclaimed, throwing the ball at Tegoshi, who caught it and tossed it into the basket.
"Great shot, Tesshi!" Kusano exclaimed, giving Tegoshi a high-five. Tegoshi winced.
"You okay?" Kusano asked, concerned.
Tegoshi nodded.
I stubbed my fingers on the ball when you passed it to me," he said. "But I'm okay."
"You should be more careful Kusa," Uchi told him. "Remember Tegoshi's younger than you and that makes you are little stronger."
"No he's not," Kusano replied. "Tesshi's older than me."
Uchi blinked.
"Oh yeah," he said, smacking his forehead. "I always forget that. Sorry Tegoshi."
Tegoshi simply smiled.
"It's okay," he said. "Notti's a bit bigger than me so I can see why you thought that. Let's play again."
~Four: Who's In Who's Lap?~
It was another relatively hot day, and so NEWS found them selves inside again. Kusano saw Tegoshi sitting on the couch watching T.V. and smiled, silently sneaking over to the chair. In one swift move he collapsed into Tegoshi's lap.
"Hey!" Tegoshi exclaimed.
"This is payback for last week," Kusano replied, smiling and leaning into Tegoshi, who rested his head on Kusano's shoulder.
"You two are so cute it sickens me," Ryo muttered as he and Yamapi entered the room.
"I'm sorry we can't be full of angst, Ryo-kun," Kusano replied, and Tegoshi laughed as Kusano kissed his cheek loudly to annoy Ryo further.
"Blech," Ryo said, turning his attention to the mini-fridge.
"Shouldn't you be in Kusa's lap Tegoshi-kun since he's older?" Yamapi asked.
"Tego-nyan's older, Pi," Ryo said, not looking up from the fridge.
Yamapi blinked.
"Oh . . . right," he said. "Gomen Tegoshi-kun."
Tegoshi smiled.
"Its okay, Yamashita-kun," he said. "I've been getting that all week."
But Pi could see Tegoshi was a little sad for being mistaken yet again as the younger one.
"Don't be sad Tegoshi," he said, smiling. "You should take it as a complement. Not many people hold onto their youthful personality."
"Stop trying to sound smart Pi you'll hurt yourself," Ryo said, pulling out a pudding cup and ripping it open.
Yamapi pouted and snatched the pudding up from Ryo, running off.
"Dammit Pi get back here now!" Ryo yelled, chasing him.
"It looks like Yamashita-kun had retained a little of his youth too!" Tegoshi exclaimed, happily and Kusano laughed.
~Five: Piggyback Rides~
"Next time I get to pick the movie," Kusano muttered as he and Tegoshi walked out of Garfield the Movie.
"You didn't like it?" Tegoshi asked.
"It was alright," he said. "But I'm more of an action man."
"True," Tegoshi replied, smiling through a yawn.
"Tired?" Kusano asked, and Tegoshi nodded. Kusano knelt down.
"Get on," he said, smiling and Tegoshi got on his back, locking his legs around Kusano's waist. Kusano stood up and he and Tegoshi continued down the street.
"Aww, how cute!" a girl a little bit away from them said to her friend. "He's giving his brother a piggyback ride!"
Kusano almost dropped Tegoshi as he burst into a fit of laughter.
"I'm not his little brother I'm his boyfriend!" Tegoshi exclaimed. "And I'm older!"
"Sorry!" the girl called.
"It's okay!"
Kusa continued to giggle and Tegoshi punched his shoulder.
"Shut up, Notti," he muttered.
~Knowledge Presents A Key Difference~
"What's with you and the news Shigeako?" Kusano asked as he came into the lounge, laying across Tegoshi's lap.
"Call me that again and Tegoshi will have to bury your dead body," Shige replied. "And I like to keep up with what's going on worldwide."
"So what's going on?" he asked.
"STDs are slowly becoming the leading case of death worldwide," Shige replied.
"What's an STD?" Kusano asked.
Shige laughed.
"Good one, Hiro," he said.
"No . . . seriously."
By now, seven pairs of eyes were on Kusano.
"You really don't know?" Shige asked.
Kusano's face burned with embarrassment.
"No," he said.
If that wasn't shocking enough, the next person to speak certainly made it so.
"Notti, a STD is a Sexually Transmitted Disease. As the name implies, you can get it from having unprotected sex. Diseases include but are not limited to HIV which evolves into another disease called AIDS, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and HPV."
And seven pairs of eyes looked at Tegoshi in awe.
"Tegoshi," Shige began. "How did you -"
" - I told you guys I was older," Tegoshi replied, smiling in a satisfied manner. He then leaned down and whispered in Kusano's ear, causing him to jump up and dragged Tegoshi off.
"Later!" Kusano called behind him.
"Shige?" Ryo asked.
"He said something like, 'now Notti if you need to know what sex is, I can give you a physical explanation'."
"Excuse me while I hurl," Ryo replied, going into the bathroom.
