im listenin to dj jazzy jeff and the fresh prince's hes the dj im the rapper. its ehh-some comedy hip-hop shit, but if i want music to make me laugh, ill listen to slick ricks first album. its funny, this guy on epinions.com said will smith is one of the great lyricists of the 80s. im not a 80s baby so i cant be sure, but im gonna go ahead and disagree with that.
i actually did some work yesterday, im buildin a website for a local record label, but havent been able to do much because no one's given me much content to put on the website. but i played around with photoshop last night, made some buttons and a banner for them so once i get some content the rest of the site is pretty much already done. now i oughta put this experience to work fixing up The Union's webpage. ive had numerous people tell me that its not visually appealing. when i made it i didnt care, the current design was supposed to be temporary, but i never got around to re-doing it. time for that to get done.
i got rhymes waitin to get out, just waitin for the right time to unleash. i was readin over some rhymes i used in cyphers on hiphopverses, and theres one line that always sticks out. i read it and think "damn, i wrote that?!!?" its a great feeling to realize that every once in a while u have a stroke of genius.

school snuck up on me again, shit starts next fuckin week. craziness...i cant wait to see how this semester turns out, my first time being single since the beginning of freshman year. sides girls, i hope to get some real shit done. get a promo or two out, hit more open mic events and get my/our name out there. i went to one event a couple weeks ago. shit was phat, ppl was really spittin, dj was playin 90s hip-hop, and they had a free buffet in the back. i cant wait for ron to come back, we gonna rip thru that spot. finally found a spot that really seems like it would be receptive to our type of shit. i wanna have cds ready to pass out when we perform there.
funny, ron was talkin to toya on aim, she told him like "i hear ur gonna do a solo cd so good luck with that", as if me and him not a group no more. somehow she got the idea twisted, ron been told me he wanted to do a solo joint, shit he got a couple niggas on campus who want to produce the shit for him for free. one dude was like "i just want to produce a album for you, you are the illest mc on campus." this nigga even said he produces mad better than kanye west, and he wanna send their cd to kanye as if thats gonna get him credit or somethin. kanye's cocky ass will be "who the fuck is this?!" and throw the shit away. ron tried to ask the dude if i can get some beats, guy was like "as long as you[you=ron] on the song too i dont care if u like the dude[the dude=me]". ppl is ridin ron's dick hard, shits just funny to me, if this is how it is before we even have a big name, imagine when we start runnin campus. neway im cool wit ron doin his solo shit, we still the union and i got my own shit to work on so its all good.
