6th Grade Sol again this morning:
Me: How are you, Jiye?
Jiye: I am bad.
Me: Why?
Jiye: Because teacher!
Me: Jiye, come here.
Jiye: No teacher, sorry sorry.
Me: Jiye, come here now.
Jiye: NO!

I finally managed to get Jumi to take her out of the classroom, since she absolutely would not come with me. Jumi took her to her homeroom teacher, since Jiye wouldn't tell Jumi why she said that. Apparently, she's angry because I didn't call on her yesterday...Ehm...there was no calling on anyone yesterday! We were doing an independent activity...
I feel very bad for Hyemin, whose English is the best in the entire school, because she is in this class and never gets to do anything fun. I asked her, when she finished the quiz today (which everyone took the entire class time to do), "What do you want to do?" and she said "I want to play games and have fun."
She reminds me of me in Chinese class.
I'm just frustrated with teaching today.
