Yesterday marked my last day at the local yarnstore where I worked for the past 20 months. Appropriate that it was also a Finishing Weekend during which customers were invited to bring their unfinished projects to the store to work on them together in solidarity. Also, I had my picture taken with a giant pickle.

Give me a day off and I'll do the usual: errands, cleaning, relaxing. Give me two in a row and I'll do more relaxing than anything else, probably. But give me four non-consecutive days off in a week, and apparently I get really ambitious and cast on for no less than four different projects. I actually finished this and felted it a couple of weeks ago. Sewing it together was really not that hard, but the 48" of seed stitch over 11 stitches for the strap took some patience (and really made me rethink using seed or moss stitch for the dreaded Berroco Comfort blanket).
