After I taught a class at the store on Saturday morning, I headed back over to the Convention Center to get me some more of that Stitches lovin'. It was more crowded than it was on Thursday night, but really not as crowded as I thought it was going to be. Even though the event had been open to the public for only 12 hours by the time I got over there again, some of the booths were looking really picked over.
My gimpy knee and I limped over to my old stomping grounds and fondled the hanks of alpaca I didn't already own just for old times. Then I wandered around for another two hours, covering and recovering ground, and making some yarn purchases here and there. One of the women at a booth that sold roving and spinning supplies remembered me from Thursday night. And a fellow at a superwash wool booth tried to sell me a free pattern.
Okay, I'll shut up now. Onto the yarn!

Aaaand, I got a little giftie for my most favorite Katherine in the whole wide world, because she couldn't be on this side of the pond to attend Stitches with me and I want to send her a little taste of what it was like there. Besides, anything I can do to help her knitting habit snowball out of control, I'm happy to help out. I will refrain from posting pictures of the item I got for the Katherine until she has received it. Feel the burn of patience, my dear. Hurts so good.
