Italian Style Stuffed Artichokes

Ingredients:

5 artichokes

15 slices of white bread

¼ cup of parmesan cheese

a couple shakes of garlic powder

a couple shakes of parsley flakes

1 egg

1 ½ cups of your favorite spaghetti sauce

Directions:

1)      Boil artichokes for 20 minutes. Drain, and then allow to cool.

2)      Taking about three slices at a time, run the bread slices under cool water, then gently squeeze most of the water out.

3)      Mix together remaining ingredients, except sauce. Divide evenly.

4)      Stuff each artichoke with the mixture, and place them in a casserole.

5)      Dribble the sauce over the tops of the artichokes, then cover.

6)      Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
