Stitch 'n Bitch
Today I went to my first real, organized Stitch 'n Bitch group. True, I had to drive into downtown Dallas to the restaurant where they meet, but traffic isn't bad at all on Sunday and it's only a 20-minute drive. I found out about it online and was invited by someone on the Lime & Violet messageboards. There were nine of us, plus one lady's little daughter, none of whom I'd ever met before. But it was good fun; everyone was nice and made me feel welcome. It's a bimonthly group, so I think I'll go again in a couple weeks, though I'll probably have to be reminded of everyone's names.
