So Long Miss Shania Twain!
Today we had to say our sad goodbyes to this little snuggle muffin. Her name really is Miss Shania Twain! Which says a lot about her, she really is quite a snobby little princess. (Not that Shania Twain is, just that any cat with a "Miss" in her name, as well as a first and last name, is bound to be a teensy bit spoiled, and therefore a teensy bit conceited)It took her a couple of months to comply with our family policy of merciless snuggling, regardless of the snuglees desire to be/or not be snuggled. Why just today I forced upon her at least 3 rounds of snuggles, and she didn't even try to fight back. When we first took her in she would have attempted to scratch us if we tried to plant a kiss on her. In addition she went from loathing our tabby Roo, to being his loveable playmate. He's going to miss her I'm sure.
Where did she come from and where did she go you ask? She belongs to a friend of ours who has been living in a hotel for the last 4 months, and has been unable to keep her kitty, we've been her fosterparents for that time. Now that she's found an apartment, Shania can go home to her real mum. Sad really. She is possibly the softest kitty ever in the history of ever!
And in other news I've been knitting away on baby toques every break I get, and here's another. I've actually made a few now, but I'll save the others for another day :-) Why all the baby hats you ask? No I'm not preggie, they're for charity.
