It is December 11th, there is no snow and I can hear it raining outside. Not just a mist, but actual raindrops. How depressing. I'll be the first to admit that I hate winter. Someone who is perpetually cold can't possibly like a frigid season that consumes up to 5 months of the year, but I do like the cold and snow for roughly 40 days. There needs to be snow Thanksgiving to New Years day to make the season real. This whole no-snow-for-Christmas thing is just adding to my dreariness. Bing Crosby did not sing "I'm Dreaming of a Wet Christmas."
In other news, I am sick (still) and have 2 weeks of student teaching left. And I am supposed to be teaching almost full time during this remaining time. Let me tell you, it is hard to lead a lesson and wear the bitch pants to keep the peons at bay when you feel like shit. I just want to give the hellions worksheets and then curl up in a blanket while they work, not caring if they destroy the room or each other. Is that a bad thing?
