Too perfect!
I was watching Gilmore Girls tonight and almost peed my pants. There was so much knitting involved and I got really excited. Knitting is becoming so mainstream, and that is good and bad. People don't think it is that strange that I knit, and don't give me funny looks. But then again, I have lost some of my uniqueness now that so many other people have the same hobby as me.
The way I see it, most of these people are just doing it because it is popular; they are not really in it for the long-run. So give it a year or two, and knitting will fade away from popularity and be designated to those of us with real granny talents.
