And from my old neighborhood in Rochester, a pair of suspicious deaths. This house is a few feet behind my old building. I could see it from the parking lot. Though, to be fair, we're not sure this was a homicide. At least Rochester's murder rate is lower than Baltimore's. Sunday night: A lacrosse playing fratboy on campus (not UR, not JHU) is accused of a murder. He shares a name with a Rochester web personality, but that's a coincidence. Today, I am eating cookies that I smuggled in from Canada. Customs man said "Are you importing any food?" We said, "No." The illegality makes them that much more delicious. Please don't turn me in. :( Yes, I bought cookies at Ikea. And beer. And meatballs. And Austin and I now have the hottest piece of office furniture we could find.
