Thoughts
1) Don't commit a crime immediately after getting a haircut. It would be a bad idea.
2) I'm frustrated by seemingly close friends whom you can't call out on their shit because they're not really responding to you anymore. What gives? (No, it's none of you, don't worry.)
3) I got rid of my facial hair, much to the delight of laurelannlucy and probably most sane characters. Laura will be sad. So will Mo.
4) We're supposed to get a raise in our paychecks. Today's was 13 cents lower for me than usual. I'm shocked, just shocked. And annoyed.
5) Last night, groorg1, laurelannlucy, jisalynn and I went to Buffalo to see the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Funkin' sick good time. Lots of old men dancing. Some old men dancing with young women. Openers were the Benevento-Russo Duo. They do a freaky cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit. And sometimes sound like Aphex Twin.
6) Speaking of funkin' sick, some beatbox+harmonica action on youtube. *wistful sigh*
7) I will be leaving Rochester at 6 AM. I might attempt to check a bag for the first time in years. And I might attempt to upgrade to business class for at least one leg of my trip (which is a quadruped when you count the return voyage). Hopeful vibes are appreciated. God bless the Internet: a wiki for airports' power outlet availability. (I apparently post about once yearly regarding similar things. Somebody remind me in '08 to do same.)
8) Our house is getting bits repainted. The painter has a black lab named Morgan.
