Random bitch post part II
For those of you who missed part one, I was out of work for two months on Short Term Disability due to extreme anxiety attacks causing frequent blackouts.
My doctor put me on for two months, didn't send in paperwork. Metlife my short term dis. ins said everyday when i called we are processing it. About a month into it, they said oh we did not recieve the necessary paperwork your claim has been declined. GREAT. So what were they processing every day that i called? A phone call. Called the doctors office back for two weeks solid in an attempt to get them to send paperwork, first week they said "oh we will send it right now". Three times I called and they said this, three times they failed. The fourth time week 5, they said oh we will fax it now, They did. yet they missed a page. Next day they sent the page.
Its great when a doctor gives you 2 months of work of mandatory but doesn't explain to melife why... So metlife turned 2 months into 2 weeks pay.
I got another doctor, she will take care of everything, she is afterall used to this and a phsycologist. So YAY. She called metlife to get documents to fill out,
First time: They told her, her fax machine is broken.... (I know it's not b/c i fax her stuff)
Second Time: She said leave me a message with the questions I need to answere and I will send you my own documents with the information.... Metlife refused claiming there were too many questions and it would take too much time
Third Time: She asked them to mail it. They refused, saying it would take too long.
Fourth Time: They asked me to recieve the fax, so i called them when ASAP and gave them the fax number, this was wednesday. I have yet to recieve a fax.
In the meantime:
*Haven't paid rent in two months.
*Work is telling me they overpaid me and although I am back at work now, I am working for free until September 15th
*Nate got a great job and is working 72 hours a week, he's exhausted, and doesn't get paid for a couple weeks
*Can't afford jasmine's daycare, So she is staying with grandma, 50 miles away.. from sunday afternoon until friday afternoon. Then she goes back on Sunday again for a repeat.
*I miss her, and am happy to be getting her back until I notice guess what I have no gas money, so I have no idea how I am going to get her
*None of the bills have been paid, I don't know how much longer I will have electricity, phones, internet, cable, a home... we already have barely any food.
*I am a nervous reck at work, b/c of all this... How in the hell do you sound like a bouncy wonderful happy sales person, when half the time you want to yell at the customer "Fine you don't need that 0% ballance transfer on your 50k credit line, give it to me bitch I need it."
So one more time for the slow kid, how do you glide on water when benieth your are paddling like hell to stay afloat?
