Started filling out applications for grad schools in the area today and GOMZ it's freaking me out. I have two standardized tests that I'm going to have to sit for sometime here soon, so that was depressing. Also decided to apply at the as-yet-unopened Olive Garden near my mom's house, as I quit this job and work on getting into a decent school. What's missing in all this grand scheming is a veritable timeline. I don't know when to quit this job and move out of my apartment. Ideally, this would happen after I've secured the Olive Garden job, but life rarely tends to work all streamlined for me.
So let's break down what must happen in the next few months (say, three):
* Say adios to my current, plushy library desk job.
* Say hello to less-stressful, but potentially lower-paying waitressing job.
* Say adios to own apartment.
* Say hello to mom's house: a significant distance away from Trout (this is an obviously important factor, hah hah).
* Hola test-taking.
* Adios ridiculous commutes (80 miles PER DAY on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
Still, I feel good about it all. I've decided what I need to do and I'm preparing to DO it, so ... I can do this. I can do this. I really can. I know it.
