Not fun. Not fun at all.

Woke up shortly before 11:30 last night with pain across my sternum. It worsened and I ended up in the bathroom, thinking I was going to be sick. Could seem to catch my breath. Got so light-headed I laid down on the bathroom floor. Pain got worse, so I started calling mom. She gets dad and Hope up, and it takes them thirty minutes to get me up, dressed, and in the car. Went to the emergency room, got checked out by a nurse. By the time she finished, the pain was gone and I felt absolutely fine. The doc comes in, asks a few questions, but didn't push doing any tests cause I don't have insurance. He would have if I had wanted them, but I passed. So we came home, and I crawled back in bed around 1 am. Woke up sometime later with slight pain, but it went away and I went back to sleep. Woke up again around 4:45, and this time the pain was bad enough to keep me awake, though not nearly as bad as the first time. I dozed a bit until the alarm clock went off, and at that point, I knew I couldn't go to work today. There was no way I could stand up and teach while hurting like that. So I called a sub and sent a list of assignments for each class with Hope. By the time dad took her to school, the pain was nearly gone, and right now, I feel fine (just tired).

I looked up gallstones on webmd, and the symptoms fit. So I suspect that may very well be the problem. If I'm still having problems tomorrow, I'm going to see my regular doctor and we'll go from there. Gratefully accepting all prayers and get-better thoughts anyone wants to throw my way :)
