Climb a tree.
On a livejournal community that was Spotlighted just recently (one called LifeList) - I'm sure you've all seen it or looked at it because it's certainly intrigued a lot of people, me included. I noticed a lot of people - again, encompassing me - wrote "Climb a tree" someplace in their list.
I try to imagine the sense of achievement (for I've not felt very accomplished in a little while) it will give me, getting to the top, a view of other trees and things beyond where I will be. And it's where the adventurous side of everyone that comes out, the childish exuberance that will course through us - all of us who long to do this - when we grasp hold of bark, put our feet in makeshift footholes which are, in reality, irregularities in the tree, and haul ourselves up up up to somewhere we don't normally live.
