Everlasting Love vs. Her Saving Grace
I have not come to a decision about it yet but I am really debating about whether or not I should continue with Everlasting Love or not. I am currently leaning toward "not" simply because the story will be too long. It is set in the 6th year and there is so much more that I have planned that will only serve to completely bore the readers and keep them from continuing until the end. If I do decide to continue I am going to have to go back and change some things so that it is set in their 7th year and things will move much quicker. I would definitely have to change some of the major plot lines like the Sirius-Elena-Xavier love triangle. It would still be in there but I would have to resolve it differently. I didn't really like the way it was going to turn out anyway. It would be way too...preteen pop-culture/'The OC' material.
Anyway, I am really liking HSG. I think that I learned a little bit with my problems with Everlasting Love that will make HSG better. I am still planning to update it to mugglenet.com because I think it is a better posting site but I am also posting it on ff.net because it is good to get some feedback although I really need to put something about leaving reviews about the writing and the plot and what they liked and disliked. That would definitely help me.
Anyway, I have 9 reviews for ch 1 of HSG, I was hoping for more but that's more than I got for Goodbye Forever? and before EL got a little more popularity it only had 3 reviews for ch 1 so I guess it's a good omen.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince comes out in 5 days!!! How exciting is that??? I'm finished rereading the first four and am going to start on #5 tonight. As long as nothing major happens, I should definitely have it finished by the time HBP comes out. But I musn't worry myself because I was only half-way through rereading GOF when OotP came out.
Hmmm...it smells like burritos in this room...that's odd. NOt like anyone cares. Anyway, if you are reading this and you have read either one of my stories PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave me a comment letting me know what you think of them and what you think I should do with my Everlasting Love dilemma. I really am in the dark about whether or not I should abandon it.
