once...twice...
THRICE!
ok ya i know that was lame. anyhoodles i went to go see thrice with paul on thursday. im going to keep this short:
- first band to play was mewithoutyou. they actually weren't too bad but we felt that the vocals kinda killed the overall performance. boo on their singer
- thrice was next up! they played a great set. played all my favourites off vheissu, and played a decent number of songs from artist and illusion. they sounded incredible. dustin has tremendous vocals. he sounds identical to the recordings. GREAT NIGHT. the sound wasn't muffled or anything. i usually hate arrow hall too. it wasn't packed at all and the crowd was somewhat older.
funny story: paul and i left after thrice. we didn't feel like staying for brand new. as we were walking out:
security guards: "WHERE ARE YOU GUYS GOING!? You can't come back in if you leave!"
me: "We know. We're done"
security guards: "Oh okay..."
