let the games begin
SO. school started. wow, holy shit that was fast. but it has been a long summer (contradiction...!) i have been looking forward to school for about a month now. work drove me crazy.... it was time for a change.
so i finished working in the office building and now back at the branch. although im not getting regular weekday shifts, im just glad to be back at the branch. i enjoyed it more. my school schedule is good, ill post it next time. i have tuesdays off. so i attended my first class today.
sooooo...last week i went to watch the lord of the rings play at the princess of wales theatre with antina. i got tickets for $35, so they were dirt cheap. the play itself was ok...but the stage production was amazing. i was very impressed with that aspect of the play. the story however was quite weak, but it's incredibly tough to compress (an already compressed) 9 hour movie into 3 hours of theatre. the play was super long, clocking in almost at 3 and a half hours...with TWO intermissions. good experience though. some ppl really dress down for plays man, holy....track pants?
saturday was SUPPOSE to be the rancid concert. but lars had a seizure on stage in montreal and cancelled the toronto and buffalo shows. i hope they make it up SOON TIME SOON TIME. i still want to see them, ok i just found out the shows are re-scheduled for december...during exam time! arg...i hope i don't have an exam the day after. guess ill have to wait and see. man they postponed it so late...but at least they're doing it.
monday, went to cne with the itm homies and antina. haha, boy was it packed! it was fun none the less, won some stuff and yea. it was good times. im tired now, too lazy to write.
i hope everyone enjoys their return back to school. let 2nd year begin! woot.
