To anybody who works directly with patients in health care:
My hat is off to you. You have my respect and admiration.

To anybody who has had to take care of a seriously ill or incapacitated loved one for any length of time:
You have my deepest sympathy and respect.
You people are heroes.

Ok, this is the one excuse I can think of where Twitter might make sense.  Instead of text messages and phone calls to a dozen people, I could just have "tweeted."   I don't twitter though,

This will reach more people than a "tweet" would anyway.
Thank you all very much for your concerns and your good thoughts.  It means a lot to us.
