Father's Day 2009
It was a GREAT day. L and I have manged to come to a place where I think she is actually beginning to realize she doesn't have any competition and that I'm with her. I'm working hard to nurture that in her.
L and the kids took me out to breakfast yesterday for dad's day. It was wonderful--all the people I love mos in the world together and happy. The kids "took me" to Chuckie Cheese's for dinner and to play. It was so much fun! The whole day felt like what heaven must be like.
The move to the new house is coming along, but it is slow and hot and icky. But it proceeds apace.
Today, for right now, in this moment, I'm happy and look toward the future with some hope. Let's see how long that sticks, hmmm?
