Ooh! Two funny stories in one day
Let's see if any of you can figure this one out, because it confuses me mightily.
I have a friend who called me up bemoaning his love life, how all the women he dates are trainwrecks (his words not mine) and how he just wants a good Christian woman who can help him sort out his life and whom he can love. "Hey," he says, "could you go to Christian Mingles dot com for me and see how I could become a member."
Pause. Online dating service for someone who is lacking one major requirement. An internet connection of any kind. I pointed this out and he insisted I look in to it anyway, they might have a phone version (or snail mail?)
Melissa's suggestion, because of course I'm going to tell my wife why I'm about to go on a dating website, was that I could pose as him perhaps? A Cyrano deBergerac scenario. Or he could, I don't know, go to a church and work from there?
