Seriously. I wish I lived in a real city. As I sit at Laura & Jenn's apartment in Lincoln Park looking out I can't help but be jealous. Trees...pretty old buildings....people walking about. Phoenix is so lame in comparison. I miss the charm of old cities.
It's a pleasant 80 degrees here in Chicago. 80 is this wonderfully amazing temperature to me. I remember being little & thinking 80 was shorts weather. Now I just think it's perfection. I had to run to the store so I went for a little walk. No place inparticular, just around. I love that about Chicago. It's such a beautiful day. It was kinda cloudy and dreary this morning, but since I don't see that often, I didn't mind. And now *sigh*. I sat on the balcony for a while reading...I'm about to return actually. I remember thinking the other day that I should get some Cloves cause I knew there would be time spent on the balcony. Jenn, however, does not disappoint. I went outside to find a nice little box waiting for me. Yum. i wish I had those really tasty cigs that Seth had one night...I need to find a tobacco shop. No, wait. I need to stop smoking so much. Damn summer.
Today since Jenn & Laura were working I played Donkey Kong Country for old times sake. Summer of '04 Laura and I would play basically everynight. Accompanied by alcohol, of course. either that or we would be playing some sort of trivia....most often TP w/ Jenn. Ah, the good ole days...how I miss them.
If you don' t read my MySpace blog, I also found out my best friend Cathy moved back to Chicago. Good thing I randomly called her this morning. This is seriously shaping up to be an awesome trip...and I haven't even done anything yet!!
