My World Cup revelation
Since the beginning I've been saying that I wanted Argentina to take it all. Why is this? No real reason actually. I like Argentina. They used to be an amazing soccer force. Isn't that enough reason?
Germany has been my second favorite following Argentina. I think this is probably just because they're hosting and it would be cool.
(Yes, I am fully aware that there is no substance behind who I like or dislike, but that's my perogative dammit).
So today the 2 teams that I wanted to win had to play one another. And what happened? I realized that in fact I did not want Argentina to win it all, but in actuality I was pulling for Germany. Oh well. So it goes. So now I will cheer Germany on as they take on the Italians Tuesday (despite the fact Italy has a team full of beautiful men) and continue to keep my fingers crossed that Germany gets to kick Brazil's ass in the final match.
