Told ya it sucks!
Thanks to the totally awesome herohunter, have now learned an awesome truth. I can finally stop watching Smallville! I knew it was headed for total suckdom, but now that I know Micheal Rosenbaum is leaving I can leave too with no regrets! Even good shows completely suck once the bald guy leaves, just look at ER!!! The writer's strike obviously happened at a bad time (like there is a good time for that to happen) since we only have 5 episodes of Lex left if he still leaves at the end of this season like he said. I was hoping to see the end of this whole Clark/Lana thing before I stopped watching. It does seem to finally be headed that way, but not fast enough.
The natural progression for me would have been to see not only Clark getting over Lana once and for all, but also him starting to fall more for Lois. The way they're dragging this thing out (beating a dead horse, trying to stretch out the show instead of letting it follow it's natural conclusion) I'll no longer be interested by the time they finally get there. I will give them credit for having held my attention for longer then any show I've ever watched, but sometimes it's more merciful to let things die.
So so long to Smallville, RIP. But it's all good anyhow since for over a year now I've only been watching Smallville since it's what comes on before Supernatural anyhow. -K:)
