FANG Volume 1G

So, the release date of the first volume of FANG is coming up on us. I mentioned this in my journal a few months back, asking that folks consider contributing, and I was very happy to see such a big turnout, which in turn led to a lot of stories being selected for publication

I'd like to second the recommendation (and will write more extensively on my own journal as well), and not just because one of my stories appears in it as well. There is little enough quality writing in the fandom, let alone published quality writing, and the more it's supported, the more there will be. And what I've seen of the stories in FANG that aren't mine are definitely quality. I don't know yet what the price will be, and I know that not everyone can toss around $20 for a book, but believe me, all the writers in the book will be very appreciative of all copies sold.

I'm totally glad that I have a job now and can actually buy things instead of just drooling at them through the glass. ~_^

I don't really have much writing umph except when I'm writing for other people too '_' There is an unfinished story I am making [.. still drafting.. sigh..] that is totally pretty much stalled at the moment -_-;. I was daydreaming yesterday about asking you if you ever had fan stories set in minor locations from your work, but unfortunately I'm not brave enough to mention it to you directly -_-; (At least I got brave enough today to be oblique. ''`)Aieee! I really like your stories! : D
I have all of the ones up through Mason's last story loaded into my cell phone and read them when I am sleepy..^^

Actually, Mikori wrote a story on Yiffstar that's at least nominally set in the Blue Forest universe. There are some details that don't quite match up (for instance, they don't really have Mazda RX-7's in that world), but it's a flattering gesture, nonetheless! Also, he did ask, beforehand, to see if it was okay.

The thought of someone carrying my stories around on their cell phone makes me smile. I just think that's a nice sign, that someone would want to make sure they had access to my stuff. :)

And yeah, FANG isn't on sale yet. Should be happening at the end of this month, hopefully!
