30 Day Television Meme - Catching Up
Day 04 - Your favorite show ever
Another very difficult one, since there are so many shows that I really enjoy. I guess if I had to pick one, I would chose Emergency!. I'm sure people today would find it incredibly boring in this age of "OMG THINGS MUST BLOW UP EVERY FIVE SECONDS AND EVERYONE MUST BE BANGING EVERYONE ELSE!!!11!" shows, but that is part of its appeal to me. Emergency! shows the mundane along with the chemical plant fires, giving viewers a "real" look at the lives of the paramedics who risk their lives to save others.
Plus it has Chet. What more could you ask for?
Day 05 - A show you hate
I know I am going to be firmly in the minority, but American Idol. Margianlly talented rubes butchering songs? Isn't that what karoake bars are for?
Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
I guess this goes hand in hand with the answer for Day 4, since it asked for my favorite television show. I think I have to go with the episode where Johnny sees Chet as their softball ace in the hole. Of course, as with all plots hatched by Gage, this one failed miserably, too.
Day 07 - Least favorite episode of your favorite TV show
I think it would have to be the pilot. Dixie dating Brackett? No thank you. Plus Brackett is a bit of a dick in this episode. Give me Joe Early over Brackett any day of the week. Maybe we could convince him to sing Route 66.
