It just keeps ringing & ringing & ringing & ringing
Was out in the hub tonite with the reillymeister to see the zealots. Bumped into chris whos working on the door there. Yes edel, miriam, that chris. Tonite was mildly farcical to say the very least! The first band on, 15 minutes, were alrite apart from the 3 fookin muppets who were off their face and started bouncing around on the stage while the band were playing nearly wrecking the joint. They must have been mates of the band or something coz the band didnt seem to mind all that much. I swear a also seen one of the aforementioned muppets hugging a pillar in his twistedness later on lol.
The zealots were fookin awesome, but suffer slightly from that infectious new band syndrome which is wierd coz theyve been together a good while. Yanno where you hear fuck all of the vocals and all of the guitar. Does my head in sometimes. But other than that they were k-lass.
Third band on were the urges, who were pretty good apart from the retard lead singer who was a morph of liam gallagher and mick jagger. A complete spastic basically. There music was excellent, very like the strokes but he was just an annoyance. And me and reilly came to the conclusion that two of the lads in the band had a perm job done coz two guys in the same band with a natural david starsky is highly unlikely!
The fourth band on were neils children, who were from the uk. There dress sense was a bit like green day's gone wrong. With massive hair! The lead singer was a bit of a conundrum, to look at you could not honestly tell if he was male or female! lol, Anyway, we headed on to get some high class cuisine in abrakebabra afterwards where we ran into this sham who was registering a complaint with the customer relations department, aka the bouncer. He claimed he asked for a garlic n cheese fries but got a taco fries and he couldnt eat them because he was allergic to them. I was pissing myself at this stage! Anyway, got the fitelink and just arrived in the door, my ears are still ringing like fuck from the gig tonite! Anyway, miriam, chris has my mobile so we can meet up for scoops next monday if ur heading out. I have given him the high and lowdown for next thursday aswell for my geburtsag.
