holy shit I'm 21

Well I was just sitting here, drinking a bottle of wine with my beau and waiting for jen to get home from work so we can go to the dice, and I decided to update and let eveyone know whats new with my life. For anyone who is completley out of the loop, I am now 21, that means i can drink every night, with little to no worries...right. My 21st bday was a little out of control (although not quite as bad as a certian friend of mine!). Started out with sharing two bottle of wine with the roomies (I;ve become a wino since my 21st, just so you know)then headed off for my first legal drink at a bar at where else, the dice! Got a few drinks there then it was off to Pauls Club, which was probably my favorite bar of the night, and its not jsut becasue that was the bar that I remembered most. Pauls club rocked becasue that was where all my friends came together in one glorious friend group. I had my hoofbeat friends, my lands end friends and my roomies/whitewater friends all in one place, all fighting to buy me drinks, and who am I to argue with them. I did a shot of tequilla, which I vowed not to do ever again since that one incident my freshman year (which, by the way Jackie, you are never allowed to bring up agian after your bday!), but i cant argue with it when its shoved in my face! After Pauls Club it was off to Brats to kiss the moose and get my free shot. I am told that there may have been a brief stop at the Irish Pub in between there, but i dont remember that so nothing memorable could have happened there. So we got to Brats, had a drink/shot or 3 then it was off to our final destination, Karaoke Kid. I found it only appropriate that I go there on my 21st since that was the first bar I ever illegially got into. So by this time, as you can imagine, I was a little drunk. Aparently Ashley and I "sung" some Prince song, I'm told its something about a red corvette, but I definitly do not knwo any prince songs well enough to sing them at a karaoke bar. But it was still a lot of fun. And I'm really glad that ashley and I got to spend our 21st bdays together, bday week was pretty sweet.

oh yeah, and jen got her id questioned at brats which was pretty sweet/lame. yay for lame bars that give out free bday shots! holla! time to rock the dice!
