Большая нилтава (Niltava grandis) из семейства мухоловковых. Самец пел в сосновом лесу в примерно 4 км от деревни горцев из народности хмонгов, которая находится в центральной части парка, недалеко от конторы. В деревне работает Королевский проект (по переориентации горского населения с опиума на цветы и овощи), хмонги активно заняты выращиванием цветов и овощей и, похоже, с птичками сосуществуют мирно.
The need for Chinese visa brought me to Chiang Mai again, and this time having time I did not ask to issue it at "rush" rate, but instead visited Doi Inthanon National Park. Here are some birds of the moist broadleaved and mixed pine and broadleaved forests at the altitudes between 1500 and 1900 m a.s.l.
Large Niltava ( Niltava grandis) from the flycatcher faamily. A male sang in a pine forest about 4 km from a Hmong village which is in the central part of the park (alt=?), not far from the headquarters. In the village there is a Royal Project (for reorientation of the hill tribes from opium to the flower and vegetable production), the Hmongs are actively engaged in the agriculture, and seem to coexist peacefully with the birds.
