In January and February I tried my hand at making slipper socks (or dorm boots) and made a pair for myself and a pair for debris_k, who pointed out that they look like Daleks.

Since I always freeze my hands off in the winter, discovering wrist warmer patterns online made me a happy camper. I made this pair to help kill off my yarn supply. I can't remember where I found the pattern I used, but I'll link to it whenever I'll run into it again...

I was feeling crafty last weekend again, and produced a present for a friend's baby, and a holster for a pair of my knitting needles, which I sorely need because I always keep losing one of them somewhere in the apartment...

As usual, when it gets colder, I get caught up in my crafts mania. I am a pretty crappy crafter, but I do have a wide range of interests - I knit and cross-stitch, and I'm going to start weaving again one of these days when I finally lure someone into my lair to help me wind the yarn onto the loom.
