I have perhaps an excessive dislike/hatred of the idea of a "group mind" or "hive mind." The idea of losing one's individuality into linked whole. Often those settings are viewed negatively ("We are the Borg.") but sometimes writers portray this as desireable, a Good Thing, what Humanity is and should be evolving towards. Would you believe a "reimagined" version of seventies sci-fi (I hesitate to honor it with the title of science fiction) show Space:1999? It'll have the name changed of course to Space: 2099.
