Fireworks Snake?
Lately, I've been watching a fair amount of anime online, mostly at Hulu and Crunchyroll. I decided to watch some of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya that I'd not seen; I have the first season on DVD but not the later stuff. And in the infamous "Endless Eight" which have a Groundhog Day Loop where each of the eight episodes covers the same two week period over and over again due to Haruhi not wanting summer vacation to end (she's a Reality Warper and can do that sort of thing) several times the characters lite fireworks. One of the types of fireworks is a "snake." I'd seen those when I was a kid, but not for at a minimum thirty years and probably closer to over forty (back when I lived in Chicago). I'm wondering if you folk are familiar with them. I'm guessing that in a place like Massachusetts where fireworks aren't legal for regular people they'd not be part of one's experience.
