For some reason Michelle Bachmann still gets media attention. Maybe because she says such inane things every so often. I see now that she's calling President Obama's call to do something about oil speculation as "waving a tar baby in the air."
Ehh, what? Leaving aside that she obviously doesn't understand that oil speculation is a leading cause of high oil prices (I saw someplace a suggestion that it adds as much a $1 a gallon to gas prices), her choice of words is just bizarre.
I suppose that sort of thing is why she gets media attention; she's entertaining in her sincere absurdity. And yet she'll probably get reelected to the House in the upcoming election; go figure.
